O, Catmas Tree

O, Catmas tree, o Catmas tree …

How lovely are your whiskers.

I keep hoping the novelty of this will wear off. It. Has. Not.

Things to do today:

  • Move the puddle of lights from the floor back onto the tree.
  • Decorate with unbreakable ornaments.
  • Hope the whole thing doesn’t come crashing down in the middle of the night.

  1. One late evening, during a MN holiday visit, I was reading in Charity’s living room (I couldn’t sleep).
Suddenly, I saw Oreo fall out of the tree. She was close to the top and ‘rolled’ down the side of the tree. That is the best way I can describe it. She landed with a loud thud.

The poor kitty was stunned and was still. I was very worried and thought I may have to take her to the emergency vet. But she recovered quickly and clearly, the experience hasn’t been deterred from her tree-climbing passion!

  2. This makes me think of that movie with Chevy Chase… I can’t believe I forgot the name of it. But you know the one.
    Cute pictures. 🙂
