So, our official release date isn’t until Tuesday, but we just got word that The Geek Girl’s Guide to Cheerleading is in stock at Barnes and Noble! Darcy was so excited, she called me on my cell.
We put a call out on the Geek Girl site. If you’re out and about this weekend/next week, and see Geek Girl in the wild (or on the shelf), snap some pictures and we’ll post them on the Geek Girl blog.

Yay! I’ll go look! C, D and I went to Borders last night to hear D. J. MacHale speak and get a book signed and I looked there, but it wasn’t out yet (and yes, they do put things out prior to release date), but I’m going to go, go, go!!! CAN’T WAIT.
Told Darcy that I wouldn’t pre-order because it’s going to be way too much fun to take it OFF. THE. SHELF.
You’ll have to try B&N. I noticed that online, only B&N and Amazon have it for sale at the moment. I was talking to the B&N manager and she said that since it didn’t have a strict on sale date, they went ahead and put the copies out since they had them on hand.
